**THE TEXAS TOUGH DUATHLON ENTRY FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. ALL PARTICIPANT ENTRIES ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE. YOU MAY NOT TRANSFER OR SELL YOUR RACE NUMBER TO ANOTHER PERSON AND WE DO NOT OFFER DEFERRALS TO EVENTS IN THE NEXT SEASON. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY.

Race Rules
The Texas Tough Duathlon abides by the Competitive Rules of USA Triathlon.

Important Reminders:

This is a non-drafting event. Bikes must be three bikes lengths apart. If you enter the drafting zone, you must pass the rider in front of you within 15 seconds.

Bike on the right side of the road, pass on the left.

If you are touching your bike, your helmet must be on and buckled.

Helmets must be CPSC certified (look for the little sticker - we will check!)

You may never discard any trash or abandon any equipment on the course. Once you reach an aid station, you may throw any trash in the aid station zone.

All handlebars must have bar end plugs. We will check before entering transition.

Penalties will be assessed for any violations. The first offense is a 2-minute penalty which will be added to final results.

*5K Fun Runners: Please leave the canine friends at home. Bicycles will be sharing the course and safety is our first priority. Thank you for understanding.
