Refund and Transfer Policy
THE TEXAS TOUGH DUATHLON ENTRY FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. An athlete may transfer to a different event, e.g. from Individual to Relay. When transferring to a different event, the registrant will automatically pay the difference between the events, if the event they are transferring to is more expensive. The processing fee on the transfer will be calculated from the amount needed to be paid to complete the transfer based on RunSignup's pricing. An athlete may also transfer to a different participant for a fee of $20. The deadline for event transfers or participant transfers is November 9, 2024.

The Texas Tough Duathlon abides by the Competitive Rules of USA Triathlon.

Important Reminders:

This is a non-drafting event. Bikes must be three bikes lengths apart. If you enter the drafting zone, you must pass the rider in front of you within 15 seconds.

Bike on the right side of the road, pass on the left.

If you are touching your bike, your helmet must be on and buckled.

Helmets must be CPSC certified (look for the little sticker - we will check!)

You may never discard any trash or abandon any equipment on the course. Once you reach an aid station, you may throw any trash in the aid station zone.

All handlebars must have bar end plugs. We will check before entering transition.

Penalties will be assessed for any violations. The first offense is a 2-minute penalty which will be added to final results.
